The answer to the much awaited question, "which film has the taken the box office lead between Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale?" is here.
If box office collections of three days — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — are anything to go by, Dilwale has emerged the winner, inching towards Rs. 100 crore.
Bajirao Mastani, featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, minted Rs.46.77 crore in India in three days.
Dilwale, Rohit Shetty's romantic action-comedy, has collected Rs.121 crore in its opening weekend worldwide. It's India business stands at Rs.65.09 crore, and it made $8.5 million (approximately Rs.56 crore) came in from the overseas market. Both the films released on Friday.

The difference was also seen in the international box office collections, where Dilwale managed to take a lead again, over Bajirao Mastani:

And this is just the beginning. With no Bollywood release till 8 January, these films have a long, long way to go. The figures may just triple, even quadruple.
