History
Established in 2007.
Bollywood Funk NYC is New York City and Jersey City's ONLY dance school specializing in Bollywood Funk™, a fusion dance style incorporating jazz, hip-hop & funk with the flavor of Bollywood. We proudly embrace today's modern Bollywood. Our students learn cutting-edge moves as seen in today's hottest Bollywood films, with a focus on rhythm, stage presence, technique and the "art" of performing.
Unlike most dance schools that teach a variety of dance styles, we specialize in one style, allowing our students to experience true growth. To ensure personal attention, we keep a low student-to-instructor ratio. We promote respect and appreciation for the art of dance by nurturing the mental and physical development of our students.
Our classes are popular with both men AND women, and are taught by professional, experienced instructors, who have performed professionally on stage and screen, including major Bollywood films in the U.S. and abroad.
