In the coming months, TV buffs will most probably get to see more Bollywood beauties venturing into Television. Indian television is transforming and even actresses like Katrina Kaif who are going great guns in Bollywood, have started contemplating doing projects on Television.
Bipasha Basu who hosted the first season of & TV's Darr Sabko Lagta Hai is now keen on doing more reality TV shows. Amrita Rao of Ishq Vishq and Main Hoon Na fame has already finalized a TV soap titled Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai. It will air on &TV soon.
Katrina Kaif: Her fans were pleasantly surprised when she made this statement. She has probably got inspiration from former beau Salman Khan who balances his movie and TV career quite well. "TV is one of the largest platforms today. It brought to my mind the thought that I can do something on TV, " Katrina had told PTI.
"I don't know in what capacity whether as a judge or a talk show. TV is an interesting platform my mind has started thinking about it. I would like to try something interesting on TV, " she had added.
Bipasha Basu: Bipasha Basu made her debut on Television with &TV's show Darr Sabko Lagta Hai last year. She hosted and starred in the show. Though the actress is not coming back with the second season of the show, she is now keen to do more reality TV shows.
"I am keen to do reality entertainment shows (dance, games, chat)-anything that catches my fancy. I am a people's person, women love me, so something with thought, humour and lots of entertainment would excite me, " she had told DNA.
Kim Sharma: Kim Sharma who shot to fame with Mohabbatein delivered several duds in row. She is now considering a TV soap and seems to be excited about it.
"Well, yes, I have had lengthy discussions, the serial sounds fantastic and the role will see me in a different light altogether. I have not made up mind at all. I lead a busy life. But sure never say never. When and if I make a decision, come April, you guys will be the first to know, " Kim had told the website MissMalini.
Juhi Chawla: Juhi Chawla, last seen in Chalk and Duster, is simultaneously considering both movies and TV shows. But we will get to see her on a TV show next. The actress has earlier hosted Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3 and a kids' chat show Badmash Company.
