For Prithvi Bana's (Piyush Mishra) poetry
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab humare dil mein,
Dekhna hai zor kitna bazu-e-katil mein hai,
Waqt aane de bataa denge tujhe ae aasmaan,
Hum abhi se kya batayein kya humare dil mein hai.
O re bismil kaash aate aaj tum Hindustan toh bhaiyya laundiya ke til mein hai lad gaya,
Aaj toh chaddi bhi silti englison ki mill mein hai.
Waqt aane de bataa denge tujhe ae aasman,
Hum abhi se kya bateyin kya humare dil mein hai.
Banta tha tairney mein ustaad sheher ka,
Kar gomti ko paar, Teri maa ka! (Bh*sd*)
- gets slapped before saying the last word :P
Iss mulq ne har shaks ko jo kaam tha saunpa,
Uss shaqs ne uss kaam ki maa-chis jalake chod di.
For scenes as intense as follows.
Karan (Aditya Shrivastav) kidnaps Ransa/Rananjay Singh (Abhimanyu Singh) and asks him to withdraw from university elections. To which Ransa replies -
"Tere baap ne time pe withdraw kar liya hota toh tu haramzadgi se bach jaata na"?
For songs like Aarambh, Sheher and Beedo which are fantastically written.
It might be a little tough to comprehend the exact meaning if one has got weak Hindi. But the movie is very deep in my opinion. The first scene itself refers to a revolt with the line "Veer Bhogya Vasundhara" which refers back to the motto of Rajputana Rifles meaning "The Brave Shall Inherit the Earth". So yea, there's some extremely strong detail/content to look forward to while watching this movie.
