Getting into Bollywood isn't easy at all! Unless, of course, you have a very famous relative in the industry. So, fly to Mumbai, and get ready for a grueling phase of your life. Millions come to Bollywood and they get stuck in queues, running after directors forever. You must take into account your whereabouts like where you will be staying safely and managing your requirements. It's a limbo unless you're good enough to break out.

• Be cautious. You should leave your home to reach Mumbai once you know how you will manage everything. If things do not work out, you must have a backup plan of safely returning home. Do not disclose your plans or share too much about yourself with new people till you know their intentions well.

Join a renowned acting class. It always helps. The acting class, apart from improving your acting skills, will be a platform for you. Be curious and be a good student. Directors might come and pick people from those classes.

• Join a theater group. As beginners, your focus will be on getting noticed and in polishing your acting skills. Hence, you may consider joining a theater group like Prithvi theater etc. Many casting directors look for promising talent in theater artists. Plus, you get to learn very good acting techniques while at it.

• Find a mentor. Through theater you may meet many casting directors, movie makers, side actors etc. Once you know who is who of the Bollywood fraternity, you will also learn about your best mentor.
• Entering theater. There are many workshops that are notified to people via email. You may check their Official website only and visit them with a friend if possible.
• Internship or Volunteer. Volunteering or working backstage is also an opportunity you could choose to be noticed and to learn more about how to seep into Bollywood. The stories of many famous stars kids and other actors is known to all about how they started off as working in the background or as spot boys or other areas in their family production or other movies.

Join Shiamak Davar (or any other) dance class. Bollywood actors (male or female) need to be able to dance for most kind of movies. They have classes where he does not directly interact with the students. SO you may choose your classes accordingly.

Get into modelling. If you join Miss India contests and manage to become Miss India and then Miss world or Miss universe, your chances will be widened tremendously! The directors aren't going to pick random strangers. They need to know you have an idea of this industry.

Advertising agency. Contact a credible ad agency and register with them. They may get you an advertisement to act in with a part of your pay to be given to them or any such deal. See their past works, cross check them online and be sure.
