Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza, who is shooting for an advertisement in Bangkok, expressed her grief over the lives lost due to the powerful bomb blast in the Thai capital.
The “Force” star, 28, took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share she is safe as she was shooting adjacent to the area of the explosion.
“Bomb set off just opp the mall we are currently in – can hear the sirens blazing all over- we are safe but feel terrible for the lives lost, ” Genelia posted on twitter.

A powerful bomb exploded outside a Hindu temple in Bangkok, killing at least 27 people.

The explosion was on the Rajprasong intersection, which has been the centre of political demonstrations in recent years. Genelia’s actor-husband Riteish even shared a video in which several ambulances are seen on the road. “Bangkok – right across the street, ” he captioned the video.
